Much of Phil Randazzo’s passion and energy goes into writing, consulting, and developing the National Entrepreneurship and Coaching program, American Dream U, which is held at military bases across the country. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to assisting military personnel and their families in making the transition from service to civilian life. Taught by some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs, American Dream U provides soldiers, airmen, sailors, marines, and coast guard personnel with the tools they need to pursue their dream jobs or become veteran entrepreneurs.

American Dream U offers two core services: online programs and in-person workshop events. The online platform, ADU LIVE, covers a broad range of professional development topics, from launching a business to optimizing a LinkedIn profile, ensuring veterans have the resources to thrive in their new careers. The in-person workshops complement these courses, providing networking opportunities with fellow veterans and access to personal success stories from others who have transitioned successfully into civilian careers.

Phil’s commitment to this mission addresses the critical need for support during military-to-civilian transitions. With 264,000 service members transitioning each year, and veteran unemployment rates climbing to 7.6%, American Dream U steps in to ease the transition. The program’s goal is to improve these statistics, while also addressing deeper challenges, such as the mental health crisis facing veterans, with 22–28 veterans lost to suicide each day.
